Sings Into Prop Instead of Microphone
Shania Twain shared a funny mishap from a recent concert, posting a video of herself singing into a prop instead of the microphone.
The singer-songwriter uploaded the clip on Sunday, showing the mistake during her song “(If You’re Not in It for Love) I’m Outta Here!” In the video, she’s holding a microphone in one hand and a long prop resembling a magician’s wand in the other. Mid-song, she accidentally brings the prop to her mouth instead of the mic.
Watch the video, and you’ll see Shania so focused on her performance that she mixes up which hand is holding what. However, she quickly realizes the error and corrects it.
Despite being a seasoned performer, Shania couldn’t contain her laughter during the song and addressed the audience about how amusing she found the moment.
This wholesome moment was a hit for Twain, who enjoyed it so much that she reposted a fan’s TikTok video of the incident on her own X account, giving proper credit to the fan.
Shania is currently back in Las Vegas, having started her residency at Planet Hollywood last month. While she didn’t explicitly say, it seems the video is from one of those shows.
She has many more performances scheduled at Planet Hollywood this year, so grab your tickets now for a chance to witness more candid moments like this!
