Simon Cowell from Britain’s Got Talent has responded to rumors about co-star Bruno Tonioli’s potential replacement on the show.
During an interview with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on their Breakfast show, Cowell addressed media reports suggesting Tonioli might not return for the 2025 series.
When Theakston mentioned the headline “Britain’s Got Talent set to drop judge Bruno and hire comic Alan Carr,” Cowell quickly dismissed it, saying, “No.” He explained that there’s a scheduling conflict with Bruno due to auditions happening while he’s in America.
Cowell mentioned the possibility of having a stand-in for Bruno during this time but emphasized his admiration for Tonioli’s contributions to the show. Both Cowell and Holden praised Bruno, highlighting his energy and expertise.
In the current season, Cowell, Holden, Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon were the judges. Sydnie Christmas recently won the 2024 season with her performance of ‘Over the Rainbow,’ earning praise from all judges.
