Billionaire Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez were recently spotted enjoying a romantic island-hopping adventure in Greece.
The couple, who got engaged in May 2023, was accompanied by Bezos’s son, Preston, during their Greek escapade. Preston, who had not been seen in public since 2019, joined his father and Sanchez for the Greek island adventure.
Their first destination was the picturesque island of Hydra, where they were seen strolling hand in hand along a waterfront promenade before indulging in a sea-front dinner.
Bezos, known as the world’s richest person, reclaimed the top spot on Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, surpassing Bernard Arnault with a net worth of $209 billion. His wealth has increased by $32 billion since the beginning of the year, mainly due to a significant rise in Amazon’s stock price.
After their time in Hydra, Bezos and Sanchez were spotted on the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos. They were seen walking through the charming narrow streets, with Bezos being friendly with the paparazzi and expressing his joy at being back on the Greek island.
Last year, the couple spent their holiday in the Ionian Sea aboard Bezos’s impressive superyacht, “Koru,” which cost half a billion dollars to build. The yacht, ranked as the thirty-second largest globally, has an annual operational cost of approximately twenty-five million dollars and can accommodate eighteen guests with a crew of forty sailors.
Sanchez shared details about Bezos’s proposal, revealing that it happened on their superyacht after a romantic dinner under the stars. Bezos surprised her with a huge diamond ring hidden under her pillow, creating a memorable moment for the couple.
Recently, Bezos and Sanchez relocated to Indian Creek Island in Florida, where Bezos purchased three mansions totaling $237 million.
