Elon Musk’s tech platform X is partnering with Khloé Kardashian for a new video podcast series set to debut this fall. This marks another significant move by the company to attract high-profile creators.
The upcoming series, consisting of 26 episodes, will feature Kardashian’s unique blend of humor and relatability. She will tackle a variety of dilemmas, from everyday issues to the more unusual, according to X.
This podcast is part of the platform’s “Originals on X” initiative, where creators retain ownership of their content. They get a 24-hour exclusive window on X before sharing the content elsewhere.
“When thinking about the bold voices with global reach that X wants to stand behind, Khloé Kardashian is our perfect partner,” said X CEO Linda Yaccarino. “This series demonstrates X’s commitment to empowering creators to use video content as a means to expand every aspect of their business. I can’t wait for the world to tune in to her compelling conversations and to provide her with a platform that will showcase her vision to a worldwide audience.”
Kardashian expressed her excitement, stating, “I have a genuine curiosity about so many topics and I try to see the positive in everything. I can’t wait to explore, listen, and learn through this exciting journey.
Thank you, X, for taking this ride with me.”
X has been actively signing deals with various celebrities, creators, and other programming sources. It features a weekly WWE program called Speed and recently secured exclusive rights for the reality sports docuseries “The Offseason,” which follows athletes in the National Women’s Soccer League.
At the Cannes Lions festival, Yaccarino mentioned that X aims to pursue more deals in the sports space. The platform previously streamed “All In: The Boston Celtics” and will also feature some Olympics highlights from NBCUniversal.
In addition to sports, X has ventured into the creator talk space, hosting shows by Jim Rome and Tulsi Gabbard, and briefly, Don Lemon. The platform also launched a TV app to increase video viewership on larger screens.
The Kardashian video podcast is being produced by PAVE Studios’ OpenMind, with Max Cutler as executive producer. Cutler highlighted the studio’s mission, stating, “PAVE Studios is all about empowering creators, offering them a suite of top-tier resources, including the highest quality production, so they can unleash their creativity. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Khloé Kardashian on her new series. Khloé’s natural curiosity and genuine passion for having thought-provoking and meaningful conversations align perfectly with OpenMind’s mission to create a space where people can ignite their minds and broaden their perspectives with curiosity-inspired content.”
