The former American Idol winner couldn’t contain her shock and awe. She found Butler’s pottery hobby very attractive. “You make pottery? Could you be hotter? Like, what the hell?” she joked. “What? [Do you] save children in your spare time? Volunteer for the Boy Scouts? I’m like, what else, Austin? Like, goodness!”
Austin explained that he picked up the hobby while living in London. Kelly was even more impressed. “That’s cool. When you were living in London,” she emphasized. “You know what? This is rude to all men everywhere. No, that’s super cool. That’s really cool.”
The audience flooded the comments with people relating to Kelly’s reaction. One person recalled seeing Austin in a minor role on “Hannah Montana.” “I remember seeing him and thinking ‘could you be hotter?’ even back then,” they said. “It’s wild to know I’ve been a fan from the start.”
