In Season 4 of The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian opened up to her mother, Kris Jenner, about feeling neglected by her management. During a tense conversation at her Calabasas mansion, Kris suggested Khloé start a podcast. She highlighted how convenient it would be for Khloé, who juggles her fashion brand Good American and their reality TV show. Khloé, however, had strong words for her momager.
The podcast discussion became a candid talk about Kris’s overcommitment to her daughters’ projects. Khloé expressed that she lacked enough support from Kris’s team to add more to her plate, which already included her children and her nieces and nephews. She felt her mother was only present until a contract was signed, then became distant. Kris tried to reassure her that setting up a team would make it easy, but Khloé accused her of being indifferent to her concerns. The conversation ended with both sides upset and standing firm. However, it appears Khloé’s perspective has since shifted.
Kris And Kim Continue to Push Khloé
The Kardashians Season 5 continues to seem more staged compared to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. This season’s main conflict centers on Kim Kardashian, who is busy with multiple projects and global travels, clashing with Khloé for staying within the Calabasas community. Season 4 filming began in February 2023 and wrapped in July. Since then, Khloé has reconsidered taking on new projects.
On June 20, 2024, Khloé announced she would launch a video podcast series on the social media platform recently renamed X (formerly Twitter). Starting in fall 2024, the series will feature 26 episodes, showcasing Khloé’s humor on various topics from the mundane to the absurd.
In her previous conversation with Khloé, Kris assured her that the podcast would be convenient, even offering Kylie Jenner’s offices for filming. While details about the podcast’s filming location are still unknown, if Kim wants Khloé to explore beyond Calabasas, the podcast might not fulfill that expectation.
