Tristan Thompson, 33, made sure his ex and close friend, Khloe Kardashian, felt special on her 40th birthday, despite being miles apart. The Cleveland Cavaliers player took to Instagram to share their cherished moments together, celebrating the mother of his two children.
“Happy Birthday Khloé!!” Tristan wrote in one of his Instagram stories, featuring a picture of them holding their children.
In another post, showing Kardashian hugging their daughter, True, 6, he added, “You are the best mom.”
He continued to express his affection, calling her his ‘best friend’ in a story where Khloe was giving their 22-month-old son, Tatum, a piggyback ride while True clung to her father. The heartfelt slideshow ended with a picture of Khloe with Tristan’s younger brother, Amari, who she often looks after due to his epilepsy and other medical conditions. Tristan called her “the most incredible human being I’ve ever met.”
Khloe also received birthday wishes from her sister Kim Kardashian, 43, despite their recent conflict over alleged mom-shaming.
“Welcome to the f****** 40 club baby!!!!! @khloekardashian I feel like you have been waiting for years to finally be done with your 30s and the time has now come,” Kim wrote in a lengthy birthday post.
The Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, also honored Khloe for her “strength, sensitivity, vulnerability, and support.”
A day before her birthday, Khloe was seen car shopping with Scott Disick in Calabasas, Calif.
