Simon Cowell, renowned for his role as a judge on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ since its inception in 2007, has resumed filming for the show’s seventeenth series after a bout of severe migraines forced him to step back from the audition process.
The 64-year-old TV personality is now back on set alongside fellow judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli. Reports indicate that Simon will be wearing special glasses to protect himself from the intense filming lights, which have been a trigger for his migraines.
According to insiders speaking to People magazine, Simon quickly returned to filming following his recovery: “He was back filming the next morning and for the rest of the week, and begins filming in Manchester today.”
His recent absence had sparked speculation about a “mystery illness,” but Simon clarified the situation on social media, explaining, “I missed two auditions at the end of one day, two weeks ago, because I do get migraines after long days in the filming lights.”
In addition to his return to ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, Simon has been actively maintaining his health with biking, daily walks, and reformer Pilates for back strength. His proactive approach to wellness has been praised, with suggestions even arising for him to develop his own line of light-filtering glasses to aid others facing similar challenges.
Simon Cowell’s resilience and return to the show underscore his dedication to his role despite health challenges, ensuring fans can look forward to seeing him in action once again.
