Whoopi Goldberg is expanding her cannabis business with the launch of two new brands later this month. Under her WhoopFam umbrella, Goldberg will reintroduce Whoopi & Maya, focusing on menstrual and pain relief products, and expand Emma & Clyde, named after her late mother and brother, offering a variety of cannabis products.
Whoopi & Maya, originally launched in 2016 and recently revamped, will feature cacao edibles, tinctures, topicals, and hydrotherapy products. The brand aims to provide holistic wellness solutions, catering to menstrual and general pain relief needs.
Emma & Clyde, which initially debuted in 2022 with a limited run in Arizona, will expand its reach to California, Arizona, and Ohio. The brand will offer a range of products including edibles, pre-rolls, flowers, and accessories, catering to both medical and recreational users.
Goldberg expressed her excitement about reintroducing Whoopi & Maya to new customers and highlighted the diverse offerings of Emma & Clyde. She emphasized the collaborative effort with her family and business partners, including her daughter Alex Martin-Dean, son-in-law Bernard Dean, and cannabis industry veteran Scott Lambert.
To celebrate the launch, Goldberg will host an exclusive event in Los Angeles on July 20, coinciding with her recognition for support of the LGBTQIA+ community with a key to the city ceremony in West Hollywood.
“We are excited to offer products that provide relief and wellness through natural means,” Goldberg stated, underscoring the family-oriented approach of WhoopFam.
The launch marks a significant step for Goldberg’s cannabis ventures, showcasing her commitment to expanding access to cannabis-based wellness solutions.
