Paul E. Francis, a composer renowned for his work on the Guardians of the Galaxy series, recently visited Promenade Music in Morecambe. Based in Los Angeles but originally from Britain, Francis has contributed to various film and TV productions with major studios such as Warner Brothers, Netflix, and Nickelodeon, as well as releasing soundtracks through Sony Music and Milan Records. His notable achievements include a nomination for Best Music at the 48th Annie Awards for his work on the Netflix hit series ‘Blood of Zeus’.
Recently, Francis served as orchestrator for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’. His career began in 2006 with the co-composition of the music for Sky TV’s ‘Hogfather’, followed by ‘The Color of Magic’ and several horror film scores.
Promenade Music shared the visit on their Facebook page, expressing delight at welcoming Francis, whose family has been long-time customers due to his late father Greg Francis’s international reputation as a musician and arranger.
Promenade Music, celebrating its 35th anniversary, has also attracted other notable customers including Guns ‘n’ Roses guitarist Slash and TV presenter Matt Allwright.
