Halle Berry and Glenn Close have joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming legal drama “All’s Fair,” a project helmed by Ryan Murphy and Kim Kardashian. The series, described as a sophisticated adult procedural, marks Murphy’s debut under his new Disney deal with 20th Television. Berry and Close, along with Kardashian, will star in this show centered around an all-female law firm, with Jon Robin Baitz penning the script.
Berry, known for her Oscar-winning role in “Monster’s Ball,” and Close, an eight-time Academy Award nominee, bring their acclaimed talents to this production. Both actresses will also serve as executive producers alongside Murphy, Kardashian, and others. The specific details of Berry and Close’s roles in the series are currently undisclosed.
For Berry, this project comes amid her upcoming role in Netflix’s action thriller “The Union,” set for release on August 16th. Close, on the other hand, has recently been involved in projects such as the Apple TV+ series “Tehran” and the film “Swan Song” alongside Mahershala Ali.
The production of “All’s Fair” underscores Murphy’s continuing influence in television, while also reflecting Disney’s expanding content under its TV Studios umbrella.
