Price Lomonte, an emerging musician from Detroit, Michigan, is on a mission to revive the heartfelt essence of contemporary pop music, drawing inspiration from both family ties and the influence of Justin Bieber.
Lomonte’s journey began humbly in a basement, where singing sessions with a cousin sparked a passion for music. “It all started with my cousin,” recalls Lomonte. “We were singing in the basement, and I felt like singing was such a good feeling. It’s the greatest expression anybody could have.”
In high school, Lomonte discovered Justin Bieber’s 2012 album “BELIEVE,” which deeply resonated with him. Captivated by the emotional depth and vibrant sound of Bieber’s music, Lomonte began honing his own voice through covers and eventually ventured into writing original compositions.
Reflecting on his growth, Lomonte acknowledges the challenges of his creative journey. “I’m not perfect—well, nobody is—but I’m still improving,” he says. “I’ve come a long way in refining my craft.”
With a keen sense of the evolving pop music landscape, Lomonte aims to reintroduce the essence of modern pop music that captivated audiences over a decade ago. “Pop music nowadays isn’t what it used to be,” he remarks. “I want to bring back that modern pop music that people like me miss, still love, and enjoy listening to. I want to show people that real, genuine music can make a great comeback!”
Continuing to develop his voice and create original compositions, Lomonte remains committed to producing music that speaks to the heart and reignites a passion for authentic pop sounds.
