Kim Kardashian has openly acknowledged that she has been emulating her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, declaring herself the “new Kourtney” after a heated argument between the two. The sisters, who have been working on mending their relationship since last year’s dramatic fallout, faced renewed tension when Kim admitted to mirroring Kourtney’s actions.
In a candid moment on the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim revealed, “I used to say as a child, ‘Kourtney does everything first and I just copy her.’ And in a way, that’s true.” Despite this admission, Kim and Kourtney appeared to reconcile when Kim shared her reflections. Kim stated, “So, I’m the new Kourtney. I finally went to therapy.” Kourtney, taken aback, responded, “Stop!”
Kim elaborated, “You had to go through it first, and then I decided to follow suit.” Kourtney expressed pride in her sister’s progress, noting, “Now you see why I wanted you guys to be on it.”
Kim also discussed her therapy experience, sharing that her therapist suggested, “All your sisters need therapy, especially you and Khloe, and your mom.” Kourtney had previously urged their mother, Kris Jenner, to seek therapy, but her suggestions were not well received.
Kourtney expressed interest in Kim’s therapeutic journey, saying, “I loved what she was saying about trauma and how you might not have fully addressed your own.” She added, “I also deal with things calmly, sometimes downplaying them as a form of self-protection.”
Kim reflected on her motivations, saying, “My instinct is to prove people wrong when they underestimate me. But sometimes I question why it matters.” She also shared her reaction to resistance, stating, “When someone tries to stop me from doing what I’ve planned, I feel like they’re blocking my path, and I’m determined to push through any obstacles.”
This exchange marks a new chapter in the Kardashian sisters’ relationship as they continue to navigate their personal and public lives.
