Khloe Kardashian jokes about Kim’s red carpet look at a casual family event.
Khloe Kardashian, 40, threw a dinosaur-themed party for her son Tatum’s second birthday on July 28. The celebration, held at her Los Angeles home, featured elaborate decorations and activities. Khloe shared the highlights of the party on her Instagram Stories, showcasing the festive setup and her family’s outfits.
Among the guests was Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian, who arrived in a striking floor-length gold gown. The dress, adorned with a criss-cross neckline and a circular pendant, was paired with a matching gold purse. Khloe humorously commented on Kim’s outfit in her Instagram Story, saying, “Wowee, the Golden Globe is here, ladies and gentlemen!” as she filmed Kim.
Kim, who also posed with her daughter Chicago West, responded to Khloe’s jest by saying she had asked whether to wear something fancy or casual. Meanwhile, Khloe opted for a white lace mini-dress with a corset-style bodice, paired with white Nike sneakers. She completed her look with silver jewelry and oversized sunglasses.
The party featured dinosaur-themed decorations, including a life-size dinosaur model and a sign reading “Tatum Two-A-Saurus” at the entrance. The birthday cake also matched the theme, decorated with green edible leaves and miniature dinosaurs, and the message “Happy 2nd Birthday Tatum!”
Khloe transformed her backyard into a jungle-themed space, with balloons designed as dinosaur eggs and activities like a slime-making station and customizable bags from Stoney Clover Lane for the children.
Khloe welcomed Tatum via surrogate in July 2022. She also shares a six-year-old daughter, True, with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson. The couple, who had a turbulent on-and-off relationship since 2016, officially split in December 2021 after it was revealed that Thompson had fathered a child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols.
Despite their past relationship, Thompson recently suggested the idea of living together with their children in the season five premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians. He proposed merging their homes, but Khloe dismissed the idea, stating in her confessional that she had no intention of rekindling their relationship. “Like come on? You know where I stand,” Khloe said. “Sometimes I hate how much I have to think and be on guard to not do anything that might ever give a glimmer that there’s hope.”
