Will Smith has confirmed that he has completed his first album in nearly 20 years. This announcement comes on the heels of the positive reception to his recent single, “You Can Make It.” Smith is now building on this success with the release of a new track and a music video for “Work of Art,” featuring Jaden Smith and Russ.
In the music video for “Work of Art,” produced by OmArr, Smith shares his personal journey of overcoming challenges. The video reveals that his new album is in the works and includes empowering lyrics from Smith. He raps, “I’m a king, no denying this / Every limit I’m defying it / Everybody wants to be a lion until it’s time to do lying / I’ma lead, till I die / Follow me to the peace / Through the fire, in my dreams.”
Fans can look forward to more details about Smith’s upcoming album, his first since 2005’s “Lost and Found.”
