Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, who recently finalized their divorce, are now prioritizing the well-being of their two daughters, Willa and Delphine. An insider revealed that the ex-couple has reached a settlement and is now “friendly” as they focus on co-parenting.
According to a source cited by People on September 11, the former couple has turned their previous custody battle into a peaceful co-parenting arrangement. The source noted, “They are friendly and great co-parents now,” adding that both have decided to concentrate on what is best for their children following a difficult divorce.
In 2023, Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner, surprising many fans. The split quickly gained attention on social media, with various comments from netizens. Just two weeks after the divorce filing, Turner sued Jonas in a Manhattan court, claiming their daughters had been “wrongfully removed” to the U.S. She argued that Jonas had previously agreed that England would be their “forever home.”
Jonas’s representatives denied these claims, stating that the singer believed they had reached an understanding about co-parenting.
Turner later dropped the lawsuit. In October 2023, they agreed to a temporary custody arrangement after a four-day mediation session.
In a May 2024 interview with British Vogue, Turner expressed her dissatisfaction with the custody situation, stating that her daughters were the “victims” of the circumstances.
She emphasized that she and Jonas were doing their best and praised him as a “great father.”
As both Turner and Jonas move forward, they are focused on their individual careers while ensuring their daughters are well cared for.
