Bill Burr and Charli XCX are set to host upcoming episodes of “Saturday Night Live” in November.
Burr will take the stage on November 9, marking his second time hosting the iconic NBC sketch comedy show. This episode will air shortly after the U.S. Presidential election on November 5. Burr is currently on tour with his stand-up show, “Bill Burr Live.”
Joining him as the musical guest will be Mk.gee, making his debut on “SNL.” He is currently touring the world to promote his first album, Two Star & The Dream Police.
On November 16, Charli XCX will host and perform as the musical guest in a special double-duty role. This will be her first time hosting “SNL,” although she has appeared as a musical guest twice before.
Recently, she released a remix album titled Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat.
This weekend, “SNL” will return with comedian John Mulaney as host and Chappell Roan as the musical guest. The show is currently celebrating its historic 50th season on NBC. A special live primetime event is scheduled for February 16 to mark the 50th anniversary.
The season premiere in September attracted 5.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched “SNL” premiere in four years. The cold open featured Maya Rudolph portraying Vice President Kamala Harris, with Andy Samberg as Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, Jim Gaffigan as Governor Tim Walz, and Dana Carvey as President Joe Biden.
“Saturday Night Live” is produced by Broadway Video, with Lorne Michaels serving as creator and executive producer.
