The Latin Grammy Premiere ceremony will take place on November 14, hosted by María Becerra, Juliana, and Luísa Sonza. Variety has confirmed this exclusive news. The event will be live-streamed across all platforms of the Latin Academy before the main Latin Grammys ceremony.
Performances during the premiere will feature nominees such as Fonseca, Ale Acosta, Valeria Castro, Alok, Leonel García, Grupo Niche, Draco Rosa, Rozalén, Vikina, and Deorro.
Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Recording Academy, expressed his excitement about the event. “I’m excited to kick off The Biggest Night in Latin Music with our Latin Grammy Premiere,” he said. “With an amazing lineup of performers, we will reveal the winners in 50 out of 58 Latin Grammy categories, showcasing the diversity of our community of creators throughout Ibero-America.”
Grecia Medina and Macarena Moreno will serve as co-executive producers for the ceremony. They will work under Ayleen Figueras and the production team from the Latin Recording Academy. The Academy is using its WhatsApp channel to share public announcements and behind-the-scenes content.
Current nominees like Anitta, Edgar Barrera, Becky G, Eladio Carrión, and Kali Uchis will also perform at the primetime awards show in Miami. Previous nominees Pitbull and Reik are also part of the lineup.
Additional performers include Darumas, Emilia, Leonel García, Grupo Frontera, Danny Ocean, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Carlos Rivera, David Bisbal, Alejandro Fernández, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Carín León, Elena Rose, Ela Taubert, and Carlos Vives—the 2024 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.
Songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera leads this year’s nominations for the second consecutive year. He is followed closely by Karol G and Bad Bunny.
