BABYMONSTER is set to pay tribute to K-pop icons 2NE1 during their highly anticipated debut world tour. The group will kick off their HELLO MONSTERS tour with a two-day concert in Seoul on January 25th and 26th at the KSPO Dome. As part of their tribute, the seven-member girl group will perform a medley of 2NE1’s greatest hits, drawing excitement from fans who have eagerly awaited their take on songs from their senior K-pop stars.
BABYMONSTER, consisting of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita, will deliver high-energy performances, blending their own tracks with some of 2NE1’s most popular songs. According to YG Entertainment, the members personally chose the 2NE1 songs they wanted to include in their show as a heartfelt gesture to honor their predecessors.
This isn’t the first time BABYMONSTER has performed 2NE1 songs. Before their official debut, the group made waves with a dance performance to a mashup of 2NE1 tracks, which garnered millions of views—an impressive feat for a rookie group. Fans are eager to see if BABYMONSTER will revisit those performances or debut fresh renditions of other 2NE1 hits.
Fans are anticipating an electrifying show, especially given the group’s strong stage presence and charisma. The members have been in the final stages of rehearsals, perfecting their performance to ensure a memorable experience for concertgoers.
Following their Seoul concert, BABYMONSTER will embark on a 14-city, 23-show world tour, visiting cities across the US, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, and more. This tour marks a major milestone for the rookie group, strengthening their connection with fans worldwide and solidifying their place in the global music scene.
