Randeep Hooda is gearing up for his next Hollywood project and is set to travel to Budapest for filming. Sources have confirmed that the actor will begin shooting for the new venture soon.
Hooda’s Hollywood debut came in 2020 with Extraction, an action-packed film released on Netflix. His performance in the movie, particularly his action sequences, earned praise from both critics and viewers. In that film, he shared the screen with Chris Hemsworth, gaining significant attention for his role.
The actor is known for choosing unconventional roles, which has led to critical acclaim throughout his career. His recent Bollywood film, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, was lauded for his portrayal of the freedom fighter. The film has also been officially nominated as a contender for the 2025 Oscars, competing alongside other Indian entries such as Kanguva, Santosh, Girls Will Be Girls, All We Imagine As Light, The Goat Life, and Putul.
A source close to Randeep shared that he is thrilled about his new project. “Randeep is excited to start filming,” the source said. “Although details are scarce, it’s a completely new look for him, and the shoot is scheduled to begin in Budapest later this week.”
On the Bollywood front, Randeep’s next film, Jaat, co-starring Sunny Deol, is set to release in April 2025. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, this film adds to Randeep’s growing list of upcoming projects.
Hooda’s career began with a memorable role in the 2001 film Monsoon Wedding. His other notable performances include Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, Jannat 2, Jism 2, Sarbjit, and Saheb, Biwi, Aur Gangster.
