Variety achieved significant recognition at the 17th annual National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards, winning 14 first-place honors. The awards ceremony took place on Sunday night at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Among the notable winners was Chris Willman, who serves as Variety’s chief music critic and senior features editor. He received four awards, including the prestigious title of Print Journalist of the Year. Tatiana Siegel, the executive editor of film and media, also excelled, winning two top investigative reporting categories.
Cynthia Littleton and Ramin Setoodeh, co-editors in chief of Variety, expressed pride in their team’s accomplishments. They stated, “We are so proud of the work produced across Variety every day. These big wins reinforce that we have the largest and strongest team of entertainment business journalists in the world.”
