The new streaming service Vaba TV, set to launch in January, has acquired the murder mystery series “Fatal Game.” This eight-episode drama features German actor Til Schweiger, known for his role in “Inglourious Basterds.” The cast also includes French-Brazilian actor Renan Pacheco and Chase Mattson.
“Fatal Game,” written by Sara Sarkissian and Anush Petrosyan, follows ten friends who travel to a remote island for an engagement party. The celebration takes a dark turn when a murder occurs, turning their innocent game into a deadly situation. With only 72 hours until the next boat arrives and a new victim every five hours, the group must identify the killer before it’s too late. USATV Productions president Bagrat Sargsyan stated that the series boasts high production value and an engaging interactive narrative, making it a must-watch for fans of mystery and suspense.
Roberto Ahumada directs the series. He recently made his directorial debut with the female-led drama “Second Chances,” which starred Denise Richards and AnnaLynne McCord. Ahumada wrote, directed, and produced all ten episodes of “Second Chances.”
“Fatal Game” is expected to air globally in early 2025 on Vaba TV. The cast also features Gracie Knight, Isaiah Locust, Nova Gaver, Bobby Slaski, Matt Tang, Anna Simonyan, Emma Kotos, and Bella Azzata, among others.
USATV Productions has previously produced series such as “Second Chances” and “Nova Vita.”
