The Governors Ball 2025, New York City’s largest music festival, will feature Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hozier as headliners. The festival returns to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens from June 6-8, coinciding with New York Music Month.
In addition to the headliners, other major acts include Variety’s 2024 Hitmakers honorees Benson Boone and Young Miko, along with Tyla, Raye, Feid, Mk.Gee, Clairo, Glass Animals, Japanese House, Conan Gray, Artemas, Mannequin Pussy, Mariah the Scientist, Mt. Joy, and the Backseat Lovers.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Governors Ball will be held for the third time at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, featuring over 60 bands performing across three stages over three days. The festival is easily accessible via public transportation, including subway lines from New York’s five boroughs and the Long Island Railroad.
Attendees can look forward to a wide variety of gourmet food offerings from across Queens, along with a beverage program designed to help beat the summer heat. The festival will also offer fun fan experiences, photo opportunities, and more throughout the park. Additional vendors, activations, and programming will be announced in the coming weeks.
At last year’s festival, Chappell Roan gave an unforgettable performance, during which she turned down an invitation from the Biden Administration to perform at its Pride event. Instead, Roan delivered her entire set dressed as the Statue of Liberty, quoting the famous poem inscribed on the statue’s pedestal: “Give me your tired, your poor; your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” Her emotional words echoed support for freedom, trans rights, women’s rights, and all oppressed people.
