With four children – Luna, 7, Miles, 5, Esti, 6 months, and Wren, 1 month – the room is also designed to be kid-proof, making it a comfortable family-friendly zone.
Moving on to the heart of the home, Chrissy and John shared their expansive kitchen, which they affectionately referred to as “the heartbeat of our home.” The couple frequently hosts big meals and gatherings with friends and family, making the kitchen a central and cherished area of their household.
As they continued the tour, the couple showed off their children’s bedrooms, each uniquely designed to suit their interests and preferences. Luna’s room features pastel colors and playful elements, including a small slide, a ball pit, and a fun-sized kitchen complete with an Easy Bake oven. Miles’ room is a safari-themed wonderland, complete with a bed shaped like a Jeep and a miniature rock climbing wall.
Chrissy and John’s own bedroom exudes warmth with its brown color scheme and a sofa tucked away in the corner, which Chrissy uses for her therapy sessions. Light-hearted banter ensued as John joked that he sometimes sleeps on the couch when he’s in trouble, to which Chrissy playfully responded, “It’s such a joke amongst married people, but we have never done it. If anything, I used to book a room at The Bowery.”
Notably, the home also boasts a piano bar, serving as a musical haven for the family. It is where they store various musical instruments, John finds inspiration for his songwriting, and their eldest daughter, Luna, receives piano lessons.
