TLC has announced that it is renewing Baylen Out Loud for a second season following its successful premiere last month. The series, which focuses on 22-year-old Baylen Dupree’s life with Tourette Syndrome, has garnered widespread attention, drawing over 14.7 million viewers across both linear and streaming platforms in just one month.
Since its debut on January 13, Baylen Out Loud has aired on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET, with episodes available for streaming on Max the following day. The show has achieved impressive ratings, averaging a 1.26 live+3 rating among women 25-54, and a 0.97 live+3 rating with adults 25-54. TLC reports that the series is the most-watched new unscripted show on cable for this demographic in almost a year, and it currently holds the title of cable’s top non-sports, non-news program on Monday nights for both adults and women 25-54 and 18-49.
Howard Lee, TLC’s chief creative officer for U.S. networks, expressed pride in the show’s success. “Baylen’s story is a true reflection of TLC’s mission to showcase diverse voices and powerful, relatable experiences.
Her openness, humor, and resilience have deeply resonated with viewers, and she continues to be a source of inspiration.”
Produced by Michael Levitt Productions, Baylen Out Loud will air its Season 1 finale on March 10, with three episodes remaining this season.
In addition to its strong TV ratings, the series has made waves on social media, accumulating more than 300 million views across TLC’s platforms, including nearly 200 million on TikTok. The show has also generated 22.5 million engagements and over 250,000 fan comments.
