South Korea’s K-Movie Entertainment will oversee the international sales of the Thai horror film Our House, showcasing the project to buyers at Filmart.
This marks just the third non-Korean film managed by the Seoul-based company, following the animation Synchronize and the live-action horror Operation Undead.
Our House tells the story of a successful sales executive and his pregnant wife who move into their dream home, only to experience strange and unsettling events. As the story unfolds, a mysterious link between the husband and the house next door begins to surface.
The screenplay is based on a true story originally shared on The Ghost Radio, a popular horror podcast with over 8 million listeners.
Co-directed by Kongkiat Komesiri (also known as Kome), famed for the Khun Pan trilogy, Operation Undead, and Netflix’s Bangkok Breaking: Heaven And Hell, the film also marks actor Nophand Boonyai’s directorial debut.
Produced by Shinesaeng Ad.Venture, the company behind the hits 4 Kings and its sequel, as well as The Cursed Land, Our House is set to begin filming in April, with a release planned for later in 2025.
In addition to Our House, K-Movie Entertainment’s upcoming slate includes the romantic drama Midnight Sun, directed by Cho Young-jun and starring Jung Ji-so (Parasite), and the sci-fi film Seeking The King, directed by Won Shin-yeon (The Battle: Roar To Victory). The latter film features a star-studded cast, including Koo Kyo-hwan (D.P.), Yoo Jae-myung, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, and US actor Eric Roberts.
