Ariana Grande has returned to the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart with the reissue of her album Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead. The expanded edition, which includes six new bonus tracks, surged to No. 1 from No. 71, earning 137,000 units, according to Luminate.
The original 13-track album Eternal Sunshine debuted at No. 1 in March 2024, selling over 200,000 units in its first week, bolstered by hits like “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).” This marks the album’s 55th week on the chart.
With the deluxe reissue, Eternal Sunshine continues to dominate, marking its third consecutive week at No. 1. The expanded edition includes one extended version of the opening track, “Intro (End of the World),” plus five new songs. Two of the bonus tracks, “Twilight Zone” and “Dandelion,” are expected to make a strong showing on the songs chart, based on their performance on streaming platforms like Spotify.
Grande also released multiple versions of the deluxe album, including exclusive digital downloads of the 19-track reissue. These versions include the standard tracklist, instrumental versions, and a cappella versions, all with alternate cover art. Physical copies, including vinyl and CD versions, are also available.
Playboi Carti’s Music came in second with 91,000 units, trailing Grande by 46,000 units. Carti’s strong streaming presence continues to drive the album’s success.
Meanwhile, Lil Durk’s Deep Thoughts debuted at No. 3 with 64,000 units, marking the album’s first week of sales. The digital-only release garnered 85.92 million streams.
