iHeartPodcasts is launching The K-Factor With Beomhan, a podcast that explores the K-pop industry, hosted by former trainee Beomhan. Premiering on April 16, the show will provide insider access to the global K-pop phenomenon.
Beomhan, who trained for four years in Korea, will share his journey, which included struggles with homelessness and mental abuse. He gained attention by documenting his experiences on social media, leading to his departure from his agency.
The podcast will feature interviews with key industry figures like Sebastian Garcia (Rufio Hooks), choreographer James Kho, and dancer Emily Lis. Fans can engage through Q&As, call-ins, and studio sessions.
“I’m excited to share K-pop and Korean culture with a new audience,” Beomhan said.
Since returning to the U.S., Beomhan has gained 2.7 million TikTok followers and plans to release his upcoming EP, Mind, Body and Soul, with the single “D.U.M.” dropping on April 26. He also plans a fall U.S. tour.
The K-Factor With Beomhan will be available on iHeartRadio and all major podcast platforms.
