Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes will serve as “mega mentors” for the remaining contestants of The Voice Season 27, assisting the artists as they prepare for the upcoming playoffs, set to begin on April 28.
Crow will work alongside coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé, while Rimes, who has coached on both the British and Australian versions of the show, will collaborate with John Legend and Adam Levine. Each coach enters the playoffs with five contestants on their team, and Crow and Rimes will provide their expert guidance to help the artists deliver their best performances yet. Coaches will select two contestants from each team to advance to the live shows.
The Voice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC and streams the following day on Peacock. The show, a four-time Emmy-winning singing competition, remains one of NBC’s most-watched alternative series.
Crow, a nine-time Grammy winner and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, is known for hits like “All I Wanna Do” and “Soak Up the Sun.” Her first nine albums have sold over 35 million copies worldwide.
Rimes, a two-time Grammy winner, has sold more than 48 million albums globally. She made history as the youngest solo artist to win a Grammy, taking home the Best New Artist award at age 14. Some of her well-known songs include “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” and “How Do I Live.”
The Voice is produced by MGM Television and Warner Bros. Unscripted Television, in association with Warner Horizon and ITV Studios. The series was created by John de Mol and is executive produced by Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, Adam H. Sher, and Barry Poznick.
