Cardi B and FKA Twigs will headline the Ladyland Festival in Brooklyn, New York, on June 27-28, during Pride Month. The event will be held at the outdoor Under the K Bridge venue.
FKA Twigs, whose recent North American tour was canceled due to visa issues, has had her visa problems resolved, according to a representative. Although details were not provided, it’s expected that other tour dates, including the Chicago performances on June 24-25, will be rescheduled.
Ladyland Festival, produced by Ladyfag and the Bowery Presents, will also feature performances from Pabllo Vittar, Eartheater, Cobrah, Sukihana, and DJ sets by Hercules & Love Affair, VTSS, and Danny Tenaglia. Fans can register for presale access now, with tickets going on sale to the public on April 18 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
FKA Twigs was previously forced to cancel her performances at Coachella and other North American shows due to visa issues. In an April 4 post, she expressed disappointment over the cancellations and promised to reschedule the affected dates. “I’m devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues I am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America,” she wrote. She added that she was working hard to reschedule the shows and thanked her fans for their support.
Previous performers at Ladyland Festival include Christina Aguilera, Eve, Tinashe, 070 Shake, and Sophie. Last year, Madonna also made an appearance.
