The cartoon pups have more missions ahead of them.
On Tuesday, Spin Master Entertainment, Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures announced that a third PAW Patrol film is officially in the works for release in 2026. Cal Brunker will return as director.
The sequel news comes just days before PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie hits cinemas this Friday, a follow-up to the first film’s 2021 release.
The films are based on the popular children’s series, which is now in its 10th season on Nickelodeon after premiering in 2013. It airs in over 160 countries in 30 different languages.
PAW Patrol follows a boy named Ryder and his team of brave pups – Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Zuma, Rocky and Skye – as they protect Adventure Bay.
“PAW Patrol has entertained generations of preschoolers while subtly teaching them the value of community, inclusion and teamwork,” said Jennifer Dodge, president of Spin Master Entertainment, in a statement.
“As we approach the premiere of our second super-powered film, the universal love for our pups is stronger than ever. We’re thrilled to announce a third feature film that expands the PAW Patrol universe with an epic new adventure,” Dodge added. “With action-packed missions and new territory to explore, this film will be larger than life and will once again show how little paws can make big prints”.

“Together with our partners at Spin Master, we are thrilled to continue bringing the adventures of these pups to the big screen for PAW Patrol’s legion of fans around the world,” Naito added.
The star-studded voice cast of the second film includes Kristen Bell, James Marsden, Mckenna Grace, Marsai Martin, Taraji P. Henson, Lil Rel Howery, Serena Williams, Chris Rock and Kim Kardashian. Two of Kardashian’s children, North and Saint West, have cameos in the animated film.
