It’s that time of year again: Mariah Carey is getting into the Christmas spirit again.
On Monday morning, the singer announced her “Merry Christmas One and All” tour, which will spread holiday cheer across North America beginning in mid-November. The 13-date trek will kick off in Highland, California on November 15, with stops in Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Detroit and more before wrapping up at New York’s Madison Square Garden on December 17.
“Yes, the real thaw has begun!” Carey wrote in the caption of her social media announcement post.
Carey is no stranger to going big around the holidays. In 2014, she kicked off a six-night residency called All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity” at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Over the next two years, she revived the residency at the Beacon before expanding it into a tour, bringing the spectacular overseas to Europe. In 2019, she wraps it up at MSG after a series of dates in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Boston.
Last year, Carey also filmed the CBS special “Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!” during a performance at MSG that featured appearances by Drew Barrymore and Billy Porter. In 2020, she released “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” on Apple TV+ and the accompanying single “Oh Santa!” featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
Tickets for “Merry Christmas One and All” will go on sale on 4 October at 10am local time in a series of presales before going on general sale on 6 October at 10am local time. Presale tickets are also available on Stubhub, Vividseats, Seatgeek and Ticketmaster.
