The Season 2 finale of “Loki” ranked fourth in Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings with a 35% week-over-week increase in viewers. From 6-12 November, including the first four days of the finale, the Marvel series was watched for 753 million minutes on Disney+.
This also makes Loki the #1 streaming original series for the week of 6-12 Nov, although it was beaten on the overall chart by three acquired titles. With 918 million minutes watched, animated preschool series Bluey returned to the top spot after several months in the top four, and Grey’s Anatomy came in second with 897 million minutes watched. After a historic summer and early autumn of #1 victories, Suits continues its slow fall with 826 million minutes watched this week.
In fifth place in its first full week of availability on Netflix, “All the Light We Cannot See” was watched for 744 million minutes, up slightly from 720 million minutes in its first four days of availability last week.
“Friends” came in sixth, thanks to a bump in viewers following the death of Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing. The sitcom was watched for 716 million minutes from 6 to 11 November, compared with 860 million minutes the week before, the first full week after his death.
“Selling Sunset entered the chart at number 7 this week following the release of the show’s seventh season. In the first full week of season 7, the Netflix reality series was watched for 709 million minutes.
The bottom three titles on the chart were all acquired titles: “NCIS (705 million minutes), Six Feet Under (692 million minutes) and Gilmore Girls (666 million minutes). “Six Feet Under is experiencing a similar viewing effect to Suits earlier this year, but on a much smaller scale, as the series was already available on Max, but has started to grow since joining Netflix on 1 November.
