Born in Los Angeles, California in 1955, Kramer ventured into the world of acting with her debut appearance on the silver screen in her father’s 1979 drama film, “The Runner Stumbles.” She later graced various television series including “Falcon Crest,” “General Hospital,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Criminal Minds,” “Southland,” “Baskets,” and “Transparent,” showcasing her versatile talent. Her film repertoire encompassed notable works like “Behind The Candelabra” and independent films such as “A Rose For Emily,” “Mississippi Requiem,” and “Darkness in Tenement 45.” Known as a longstanding member of the Actor’s Studio, Kramer also showcased her acting prowess in stage productions, notably in “My Sister In This House” alongside Deanne Bray at the Deaf West Theatre.
Casey Kramer was the daughter of Stanley and Anne Pearce. Her elder brother, Lawrence Kramer, passed away in 2010. Her father, renowned for directing impactful American films like “The Defiant Ones,” “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” “On the Beach,” and “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World,” left an indelible mark on the cinematic landscape.
