Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has confirmed that his son, Jake Bongiovi, has married Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
In an interview with BBC’s The One Show on Tuesday, Bon Jovi put an end to the speculation. “They are great, they are absolutely fantastic,” he said. “It was a very small, family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be. It’s true.”
Millie Bobby Brown, 20, is best known for her role as Eleven in the Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things. She has also appeared in two Godzilla films.
The couple announced their engagement in April 2023. Brown shared a photo on Instagram where she wore an engagement ring while embracing Jake Bongiovi, 22, who is a model and actor. She captioned the post with a lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Lover”: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
As of now, Brown and Bongiovi have not confirmed the wedding themselves.
Brown has previously expressed her enthusiasm for wedding planning. She told Elle UK earlier this year, “It’s been really an unbelievable journey. Every time we have a new wedding meeting, Jake and I take a picture to capture the moment of the planning process. He’s loving every second of it. I haven’t been met with a stressful time yet, and I think that’s just a reflection on how ready and excited we are to do it.”
