Victoria Beckham, the 50-year-old fashion designer who rose to fame with the 90s pop group the Spice Girls, dislikes when people keep fashion and beauty secrets to themselves. She loves being open and honest about her tips and tricks, reflecting her identity as a “real girl’s girl.”
In an interview with Grazia magazine, Victoria shared her frustration with secretive behavior. “I remember growing up, my mum had two close friends, and one would never share where she got her outfits or bags from. It’s so bizarre. If I have a great tip or a new pair of trainers, I want to tell everyone.”
Victoria, who has four children with her ex-footballer husband David Beckham, also addressed the misconception that she is always serious. Despite her pouty poses on red carpets early in her career, she insists she has a sense of humor. “People thought I was a steely-faced ice queen because of the paparazzi pictures and media stories. But through social media, people see that’s not me. I like to laugh at myself.
There’s always humor in what we do, and I think that’s key.”
She emphasized the importance of enjoying life, even with its potential downsides. “You just become more accepting. This is how I look, and I’m going to make the best of it. I’m disciplined with my diet, workout, and work. But I do like to have a drink and enjoy myself. Life’s too short. Let’s have a nice time.”
