Kai Cenat, a prominent Twitch streamer, teamed up with music icon Mariah Carey for a playful ‘ding dong ditch’ prank during North West’s 11th birthday celebration at a hotel. Cenat, known for his high-profile collaborations, recently finished a successful stream with comedian Kevin Hart.
On June 15, Cenat joined North West and her family at a luxurious hotel. North, eager for some fun, suggested playing ‘ding dong ditch’ with her friends. This game, popular among children, involves ringing a doorbell and running away before the resident answers.
Cenat agreed to participate, and the group dressed in matching tutus and facemasks for disguise. Their first attempt failed, but they soon caught the attention of Mariah Carey, who was observing from across the hall.
As they headed to another floor, Cenat invited Carey to join them. She agreed with a smile, saying, “I’ll do some ding dong ditching. Why not?”
Mariah took the lead, knocking persistently on a door, but no one answered. Later, Kim Kardashian informed Cenat that the adults were taking a break, leaving him to continue the fun with the kids.
The prank was just one part of North’s birthday celebration. Cenat and North also interviewed people on the streets of New York City, and North even called singer Tyla to reveal Cenat’s crush on her.
However, Cenat’s involvement sparked controversy online. Some critics found it odd that he was spending time with a child. Cenat defended himself, explaining that North wanted to meet him as part of her birthday since he is her favorite streamer.
