George and Amal Clooney are starting their summer with a romantic getaway. The couple was seen in St. Tropez, a favorite destination they frequent.
Photographers captured George and Amal heading to a lunch date in the French Riviera. George wore a white polo shirt, grey pants, and matching shoes, carrying a jacket and sporting sunglasses. Amal looked stunning in a tight floral dress paired with heels. She wore her hair loose and wavy, finishing her summery look with sunglasses and a beige purse.
The Clooneys dined at Jardin Tropezina, a restaurant famous for its Mediterranean cuisine. They sat at one of the most exclusive tables, enjoying lush views of the water.

George and Amal Clooney met on a trip to Lake Como, a luxurious European destination, during a group dinner hosted by a mutual friend. They got engaged a year later. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, George said, “I thought she was beautiful, and I thought she was funny and obviously smart.” They married in 2014 in Venice, Italy, and welcomed twins, Alexander and Ella, in 2017. The twins are now 7 years old.
“When you have twins and you’re raising [them] the same time, the same way, and they’re completely different human beings, you realize how little say you have in who they are,” George shared on Good Morning America. “They come out with an opinion, and it’s amazing to watch how different my kids’ personalities are.”
