Prince Harry is reportedly experiencing a sense of isolation in California and yearning for his friends back in the UK, according to royal expert Tom Quinn. The expert suggests that Harry’s old friends have distanced themselves because they find his wife, Meghan Markle, challenging to deal with.
Living in Montecito, California, with Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Harry allegedly misses the company of his army and school friends who still reside across the Atlantic. Quinn highlighted that these friends seldom visit him in the States due to their purported difficulty with Meghan.
Recently, Harry and Meghan opted out of attending the wedding of Archie’s godfather, Hugh Grosvenor, in England. According to reports, they chose to skip the event to avoid causing any disruption.
Quinn also shared insights into Harry’s recent visits to England, noting that his reluctance to reconnect with old friends stems from his desire to distance himself from his pre-Meghan life. Additionally, Quinn mentioned that Harry’s friends feel let down by the way he portrayed his military service in his memoir, “Spare,” which they reportedly found to be uncharacteristic of military standards.
Earlier this year, Harry officially renounced his British residency and designated the United States as his primary home. Despite this, recent reports suggest he may be considering relocating back to the UK.
Meanwhile, Meghan is said to be focused on her career in Hollywood and has reportedly expressed feeling rejected by the UK.
