Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who got engaged in 2022, have yet to tie the knot. Here’s an update on their relationship.
Things are looking positive for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly! After a year of highs and lows, breakups, and reconciliations, the actress and the rocker are reportedly doing well and focusing on mending their relationship, according to a source.
“Things have been much better with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly,” the source told ET. “They’ve been problem-solving, working on effective communication, reestablishing their commitment to each other, and realigning the direction of their relationship and where they want it to go.”
The source shared that Fox, 38, and Kelly, 34, are addressing their communication issues with the help of therapy, both individually and together. Consequently, their wedding plans are currently on hold.
“Communication and therapy are what’s working best for them at this time,” the source added. “They’re both still committed to working on themselves and together. Their engagement and wedding are still on standby, but they’re very happy in this moment together.”
Over the weekend, the couple appeared together at Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July all-white party. They attended the event in the Hamptons alongside other celebrities such as Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Gayle King, Beyoncé, JAY-Z, and more.
For the occasion, Fox wore a white dress by White Fox. Last month, the pair also attended a rare date night in matching blazers at the Celebration: Dinner & Performance at the Nemacolin resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. They also reunited for Kelly’s (real name Colson Baker) birthday in April. Fox and Kelly began their romance in 2020 and got engaged in January 2022. Over the past year, the couple has faced breakups, cheating rumors, therapy sessions, and various relationship challenges.
In May, another source told ET that Fox and MGK are “taking things one day at a time with their relationship.” “They are continuing to go to therapy, be fully transparent with each other about their feelings, and have consistent communication,” the source said at the time. “They have dealt with some trust issues, but are both making a continual effort to stay committed to their mutual end goal of being together forever. They are also respecting each other’s space when needed, which is key for them during this time.”
