Kim Kardashian is returning to the small screen with a new legal drama titled All’s Fair. This series, created by Ryan Murphy, will feature a star-studded cast, including Glenn Close and Halle Berry. The show is shaping up to be a must-watch.
Originally announced in December 2023, All’s Fair centers around an all-female divorce law firm in Los Angeles. Murphy describes it as “a high-end, glossy, and sexy adult procedural,” according to Deadline.
Murphy, who serves as a writer, director, and executive producer, has kept details about Close and Berry’s characters under wraps. However, it has been revealed that Kardashian will play a powerhouse lawyer and owner of the firm. Alongside their acting roles, Kardashian, Close, and Berry will also serve as executive producers.
All’s Fair Plot
In a May episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian and Murphy discussed the series, which was then just an idea. Murphy shared that studio executives were impressed by Kardashian’s performance in American Horror Story and suggested she might want her own show. He then pitched All’s Fair, describing Kardashian’s character as “the world’s best, most expensive divorce lawyer.”
Murphy elaborated, saying, “When you’re going through a divorce, you become very close to your lawyer and share everything with them. It has the bond of women trying to get through an experience together, similar to Sex and the City.”
All’s Fair Cast
Kardashian made her acting debut in Murphy’s AHS: Delicate as publicist Siobhan Corbyn. She’s no stranger to the camera, as her Hulu reality show The Kardashians is now in its fifth season, following E!’s 20-season run of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Additionally, Kardashian has been studying law since 2019, passed the “baby bar” in 2021, and plans to take the bar exam in February 2025.
This series marks Close’s return to a legal drama, having famously played lawyer Patty Hewes on FX’s Damages. Berry also returns to television after her 2014 series Extant.
All’s Fair Release Date
All’s Fair is set to begin production later this year and will premiere on Hulu in early 2025, according to Deadline.
