Reality TV stars Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian have arrived in Mumbai for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding today, July 12. Kim shared photos of her extravagant welcome in the city.
Kim and Khloe landed in Mumbai on Thursday, July 11, to attend the wedding. Upon their arrival at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai, they received a lavish reception. Paparazzi swarmed their car at the airport, capturing their every move.
Kim posted a video of the lively scene, captioning it with a friendly “Hi India.” She also shared moments from her welcome at the hotel, where she received a traditional garland and tikka. Sources exclusively informed IndiaToday.in that Kim and Khloe will document the Ambani wedding for their Hulu reality show, ‘The Kardashians.’ They brought their entire glam team, including hairstylist Chris Appleton and filming producers, to capture their Mumbai journey from arrival, the wedding, to their departure.
‘The Kardashians’ is currently in its fifth season, and highlights from the Ambani wedding are expected to feature in the upcoming sixth season. This visit marks both Kim and Khloe’s first trip to India. Kim is set to wear a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga for the wedding festivities.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding spans three days, with events such as ‘Shubh Vivaah’ on July 12, ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13, and a grand reception on July 14, followed by another reception on July 15.
The Ambani wedding will also see other global celebrities in attendance, including John Cena, Mike Tyson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and dignitaries like Jay Shetty, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, John Kerry, and Stephen Harper.
