Depp and Smith are scheduled to join Andrea Bocelli on stage in Lajatico, Italy, on Wednesday and Friday as part of a star-studded lineup celebrating Bocelli’s 30-year music career. The event, held in Bocelli’s hometown in Tuscany, is being filmed for a movie.
Both actors share musical interests outside of acting, with Depp playing in a band and Smith having a background in hip hop. Their ongoing friendship, which previously included a reunion at a film festival in Saudi Arabia last year, appears to be flourishing across continents.
