LaKeith Stanfield is close to finalizing a deal to star alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson in the upcoming thriller Die, My Love. The film will be directed by Lynne Ramsay, who also co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh.
Set in a remote and isolated rural area, Die, My Love tells the story of a mother struggling to maintain her sanity while dealing with psychosis. Details about Stanfield’s character have not been disclosed.
The film is being produced by Justine Ciarrocchi and Jennifer Lawrence under their production company, Excellent Cadaver. Other producers include Martin Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood, and Black Label Media, which is also financing the project.
Stanfield continues to build an impressive and diverse portfolio in Hollywood. He was recently seen in Sony and Legendary’s The Book of Clarence and Disney’s The Haunted Mansion. On television, he starred in the Apple TV+ drama The Changeling, where he also served as an executive producer.
In 2021, Stanfield earned an Academy Award nomination for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah. His upcoming projects include Play Dirty, co-starring with Mark Wahlberg, Dermot Mulroney, and Tony Shalhoub, and producing and starring in the film adaptation of El Paso, Elsewhere. Additionally, he will lend his voice to the documentary Ernest Cole: Lost and Found.
Stanfield recently joined the cast of Bernard Rose’s Lear Rex. He is represented by CAA and Stark Management.
