BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Spanish singer Rosalía recently teamed up to take on the “New Woman” dance challenge, showcasing their incredible chemistry and stylish moves. The duo dropped their track “New Woman” earlier this August.
Lisa, who made her solo debut in 2021 with the single album “LALISA”, released her first single “ROCKSTAR” in June as a soloist after parting ways with YG Entertainment. On August 21, Lisa and Rosalía were spotted in front of an ice cream parlor in Los Angeles, where Lisa showed off her dance skills to the enchanting song while Rosalía enjoyed her ice cream and added her own flair.
The Thai K-pop idol also shared pictures with Rosalía as they hung out together in LA. Fans suspect that Rosalía might make a surprise appearance on stage with Lisa at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards on September 12, where Lisa is set to perform.
Lisa will also be part of the upcoming season of the HBO series “The White Lotus”, working under the name Lalisa Manobal. The production of “The White Lotus” Season 3 reportedly kicked off in February in Thailand and has since finished filming.
In December 2023, it was confirmed that all BLACKPINK members renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities, but they didn’t sign with the agency for their individual activities. Earlier this year, Lisa launched her own agency, LLOUD, and released her profile photos.
