Oasis has expanded its upcoming summer 2025 U.K. tour by adding three additional dates due to what the band describes as “unprecedented demand.”
The iconic band, fronted by the famously feuding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, will now perform at Heaton Park in Manchester on July 16, Wembley Stadium in London on July 30, and Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh on August 12. These dates are in addition to the 14 shows that were originally announced earlier this week. This tour will mark the first time the Gallagher brothers have performed together in over 15 years.
The announcement of extra dates follows Oasis’s clarification on Wednesday that they will not be headlining the Glastonbury Festival next summer, despite widespread rumors.
In a statement posted on social media, the band confirmed, “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”
Initially, the tour was revealed on Tuesday, featuring four shows at London’s Wembley Stadium and four at Manchester’s Heaton Park, with additional stops in Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale at 9 a.m. local time on August 31 through Ticketmaster, GigsAndTours.com, and SeeTickets.com.
According to a press release, the reunion wasn’t sparked by any single event, but rather a gradual realization that “the time is right.” The release also noted the significance of the timing, as this Thursday marks 30 years since the release of Oasis’s groundbreaking debut album, Definitely Maybe. Additionally, 2025 will see the 30th anniversary of their equally influential second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?
