Netflix has released the official trailer for Tyler Perry’s upcoming series, Beauty In Black. This drama consists of 16 episodes, with the first eight set to premiere on October 24.
Created, directed, and written by Perry, the series centers on two women from contrasting backgrounds. Kimmie (played by Taylor Polidore Williams) is struggling to survive after being thrown out by her mother, while Mallory (Crystle Stewart) enjoys success in her business. Their lives intersect in unexpected ways.
The cast also features Amber Reign Smith as Rain, Ricco Ross as Horace, Debbi Morgan as Olivia, Richard Lawson as Norman, and several others, including Steven G. Norfleet and Tamera “Tee” Kissen. Beauty In Black is produced by Tyler Perry Studios as part of Perry’s overall deal with Netflix, with producers Will Areu, Angi Bones, and Tony L. Strickland.
