Becky G has unveiled a new music video for her single “Otro Capítulo,” which translates to “Next Chapter.” This song is a key track from her upcoming album, “Encuentros.” This marks Becky G’s second album focused on música mexicana, following her 2023 release, “Esquinas.”
That album featured collaborations with popular artists like Peso Pluma, Ivan Cornejo, and DannyLux.
In a social media post announcing “Encuentros,” Becky G expressed her excitement. She wrote that her previous album, “Esquinas,” ignited her creative passion and inspired her to continue making music. “Since last year, I continued discovering, feeling, healing and creating,” she shared. She emphasized that the album reflects all the parts of herself she found along the way, saying, “You guys said you wanted more, and so did I.”
The music video for “Otro Capítulo” was filmed in Los Angeles and features appearances from Becky’s family and local businesses.
Notable spots include the fashion brand Ghetto Rodeo and Bravo’s Charburgers. The new album consists of 16 songs and includes collaborations with rising stars like Tito Double P, Oscar Maydon, Delilah, and Óscar Ortiz.
Becky G’s fourth studio album comes shortly after she announced new tour dates for her first-ever headlining tour, now titled “Casa Gomez:
Otro Capítulo.” This tour will take her to Mexican-American communities across the United States, starting in Chicago and including stops in cities like Milwaukee, San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, and San Diego.
