M88 has officially signed actor, producer, and photographer Lance Gross for representation.
Gross is best known for his role in the Fox TV series “Our Kind of People,” produced by Lee Daniels, where he starred alongside Yaya DaCosta, Morris Chestnut, and Joe Morton.
He has won four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance on Tyler Perry’s popular sitcom “House of Payne.” His television credits also include CBS shows like “Hawaii 5-0” and “MacGyver,” as well as Fox’s “Star,” USA Network’s “Royal Pains,” and the Amazon limited series “Too Old to Die Young,” directed by Nicolas Winding Refn.
In film, Gross starred in Tyler Perry’s “Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor,” alongside Jurnee Smollett, Brandy, and Vanessa Williams. He also appeared in the Lifetime remake of “Steel Magnolias,” with Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodard, Phylicia Rashad, and Jill Scott. Additionally, he acted in “Our Family Wedding,” featuring America Ferrera, Forest Whitaker, and Carlos Mencia.
In 2017, Gross created, produced, and starred in the digital series “I Turned My Camera On,” which merged his passion for photography with celebrity interviews. The series, launched in partnership with Essence, featured notable guests such as Michael B. Jordan, Omari Hardwick, and Kelly Rowland. Along with M88, Gross is still represented by Gersh.
M88, founded in 2020 by former WME partner Phillip Sun and Macro founder Charles D. King, focuses on representing diverse talent, including actors, writers, and multi-hyphenates. Recent signings include actor Winston Duke, playwright David Henry Hwang, digital creator Yuri Lamasbella, and filmmaker Alexandre Moratto.
