Federation Studios, based in Paris, has announced several new series during the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF). Among the highlights is an upcoming show from Eric Rochant, the creator of the acclaimed espionage thriller “The Bureau.” This series will be partially filmed in Taiwan, Europe, and the Middle East.
Pascal Breton, president of Federation Studios, shared details about the new project. He emphasized that the show will be in English and designed for a global audience. Breton expressed excitement about potential collaboration between Taiwan and France. He mentioned plans to establish a new subsidiary of Federation in Taipei to facilitate this partnership and produce what could be a worldwide hit.
Breton elaborated on the show’s themes, stating it will explore global intelligence issues. He noted that the narrative is not limited to France but reflects the interconnectedness of global affairs, especially amid rising tensions among superpowers. “We aim to depict this tense world in an eight-hour series,” he said. “It provides fertile ground for drama, although it presents challenges for democracy and daily life.”
The exact title of the new series has not yet been disclosed.
In addition to Rochant’s project, Federation Studios also announced a drama series titled “Tour de France,” set to premiere next summer.
Breton described it as a dramatic and action-packed portrayal of the famous cycling race, infused with soap opera elements. The show will be produced by the team behind “Lupin” and two installments of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, promising fast-paced excitement for viewers.
This announcement marks an ambitious expansion for Federation Studios as it seeks to create compelling content that resonates with audiences worldwide.
